Trip Highlights

This Golden Triangle tour is a bespoke trip of India’s famous northern cultural sites, starting in Delhi and also taking in Agra and Jaipur, including the most famous site of all, the Taj Mahal. All of them boasting grand architecture, fascinating cultural heritage and contemporary, cosmopolitan life, resulting in the most wonderful introduction to India.

Starting in Delhi, which is the political capital of India, your guide will explain its history which is recorded in the iconic Mahabharata, known then as Indraprastha. Today it is divided into Old and New Delhi with an eclectic mix great sites such as India Gate or Red Fort alongside colonial heritage such as at Connaught Place.

Agra, in contrast, is an ancient city on the banks of Yamuna River and Mughal capital for over a century, still boasting their iconic architecture, the most famous being the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all of which are famously celebrated by UNESCO World Heritage Site status.

Our third and final stop in this glittering triangle is Jaipur, capital of the desert state of Rajasthan, created by Maharaja Sawai Jai Sing II in 1727 and remaining a Princely State during the years of British colonial rule. It is a stunning ‘pink city’ with magnificent palaces and parks, as well as fine heritage hotels. Must sees here include Amber fort, City Palace, Jantar-Mantar and Hawa Mahal. This is, of course, a tailor made trip, so we are happy to adapt this itinerary to suit your interests or time frame or to incorporate any of the other great sites of northern India.

Dear Madam,
Thank you for the incredible experience I had in Bhutan. I still can't believe that this place still exists! everything was perfect, the guide, the driver, the car, the hotels, and the food. so much taste in every dish. the last day was perfect, with the climbing to Taktsang and the evening with a relaxing hot stone bath and dinner at the farmhouse. once again, many thanks for organizing this amazing tour and you shared your happiness with me, and congrats to Singe and Sange (or how their names are written).

"Great company, great price. I was thoroughly impressed with World Tour Plan. The package seemed a lot, however, once we started the tour, we realized how amazing the pricing was considering everything we did, where we stayed and every other thing that was included. I'd recommend the World Tour Plan to anyone. Not only is it a great price, but you see everything you would want to see in Bhutan, and you see things you wouldn't have thought to see. You also get to do things you wouldn't think to do. The staff were incredible as well. Couldn't have asked for a better trip!"
